Introduction

In the full manufacturing workflow of wood-based panels including MDF, particle board and OSB, the deaeration section is an indispensable core procedure before hot pressing. A qualified deaeration belt undertakes preliminary compaction of wood fiber and wood chips, and rapidly discharges internal air and moisture inside the fiber mat.

During long-term continuous production, the belt bears lasting tension, heat, moisture, resin corrosion and heavy extrusion load. Inferior deaeration belts have uneven air permeability, poor tensile strength and insufficient heat resistance, which easily cause air bubbles, delamination, inconsistent board density, frequent belt fracture and unplanned production downtime, seriously reducing finished board quality and factory output efficiency.
